ALEA: Legislators sent ‘suspicious’ letters at the Alabama Statehouse

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Wednesday that a group of legislators were mailed pornographic images.

ALEA said in a press release Wednesday that it dispatched special agents assigned to the State Bureau of Investigation to investigate the incident on Wednesday morning.

The investigation is ongoing. The agency said it had identified a “person of interest” but did not speak further.
