Hurricanes Milton & Helene

The southeast is struggling with historic back-to-back natural disasters: Just a couple of weeks after Hurricane Helene made landfall and devastated communities, Hurricane Milton brought more havoc. Florida has been particularly hard-hit, being in the direct path of both storms. Recovery efforts are underway, but more powerful storms such as these could be the new norm as climate change continues to take its toll.
