Gun Violence
In the U.S., more children die from gun violence each year than police officers or active duty military members. Multiple generations have now experienced and grown up with mass shootings as a regular occurrence — they’ve happened at schools, churches, movie theaters, grocery stores, and concerts, to name a few. Politicians offer “thoughts and prayers,” but lawmakers at all levels of government have struggled and mostly failed to pass even basic safety reforms that have broad support across the American public.
