Early voting is almost open in Idaho. Here’s when it starts in your county.
Across Idaho, voters can cast votes in person before the Nov. 3 general election at select locations starting as early as Tuesday.
Depending on where you live, early voting can start earlier or may not be available. State law gives counties the option to provide early voting, and flexibility on when that voting option can start. Some counties, such as Twin Falls and Bannock, start early voting Tuesday. But many of the most populous counties — including Ada, Bonneville, Canyon and Kootenai — are waiting until Oct. 19 to start.
Early voting in all counties must end by 5 p.m. Oct. 30. Check with your county clerk for early voting locations in your area.
And if you want an absentee ballot, which lets you vote by mail, you need to request it by end of day Oct. 23. Here’s a guide on all the voting forms available in Idaho, and what you’ll need to register to vote.
