After reports that former President Donald Trump had agreed to two additional presidential debates in September, the former president took to Truth Social Sunday sharing locations and host networks, saying one of the debates would be held in Grand Rapids.

While Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris had already agreed to a debate on Sept. 10 — which Trump previously said he would not participate in — the former president has since claimed there are plans for two additional debates scheduled for Sept. 4 and Sept. 25.

In his post, Trump said the Sept. 4 debate would be held by Fox News in Harrisburg, Penn., while the Sept. 25 debate would be hosted in Grand Rapids by NBC and anchored by Lester Holt, before saying details would follow.

Neither Fox News nor NBC responded to a request for comment.

ABC Senior White House Correspondent Selina Wang previously posted to X that Harris would not agree to the Sept. 4 debate, and that future debates would be contingent on Trump showing up to the Sept. 10 debate and that the campaign was willing to have conversations ahead of that debate about future dates.

“We are open to another debate, and we’ll continue those conversations. But to be clear, any additional debate would be subject to Trump actually showing up on September 10. We’re not playing his games,” the Harris Campaign said in an email to the Advance after publication.
