This story has been updated with additional information about the president’s visit.

President Donald Trump is set to visit Philadelphia this weekend for the NCAA’s Division I Men’s Wrestling Championship.

The announcement came via a post by Clay Travis, a conservative radio talk show host and founder of OutKick, a pro-Trump media outlet. Travis said be traveling with Trump on Air Force One to the championships in Philadelphia this weekend, at the Wells Fargo Center.

The tournament will run from Thursday to Saturday. Trump is expected to travel Philadelphia on Saturday.

While Pennsylvania was a frequent stop for the 2024 presidential campaign for Trump and Democratic nominee, then-Vice President Kamala Harris, this appears to be the first visit from Trump to the commonwealth since being sworn-in to a second term.

Trump and multiple Pennsylvania elected officials were in attendance for the Philadelphia Eagles victory in Super Bowl LIX over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans. The Eagles will visit the White House on April 28 to celebrate their Super Bowl victory. In 2018, after the Eagles first Super Bowl victory, the team did not visit the White House after Trump disinvited since the team one night before their scheduled appearance following reports that fewer than 10 players were expected to attend.

U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick (R-Pa.), an ally of Trump, was one of several senators to fly with Trump on Air Force One to the game. McCormick, a U.S. Army veteran, also joined Trump for the Army-Navy annual college football game in December.

McCormick, who wrestled at West Point and was co-captain, will also be in attendance for the championships, this weekend. It is unclear if he or other Pennsylvania elected officials will be joining Trump at the event.
