North Dakota’s treasurer and insurance commission will remain the same after both men won uncontested races on Tuesday night.

Treasurer Thomas Beadle and Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread both won 98% of votes with write-in candidates garnering 2% of the vote total.

Beadle became the state’s treasurer in 2020 after defeating Democratic-NPL Party candidate Mark Haugen with 66% of the vote. Beadle previously represented the Fargo area in the North Dakota House of Representatives from 2011 to 2020.

Godfread was first elected insurance commissioner in 2016 after defeating Dem-NPL Party candidate Ruth Buffalo with 64% of the vote.
