The Idaho Immunization Coalition is hosting its third annual community health fair to promote health and wellness this Saturday in Caldwell.

The event, “Communities United by Health,” will include free immunizations for all ages. Free vaccines are available to youth under the age of 18 with or without insurance, as well as any adult who is 19 years or older who does not have insurance.

Other services available will include health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and vision. A mobile mammogram unit will also be available for screenings.

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 23
Where: O’Connor Field House, 2207 Blaine St., Caldwell

There will be 95 booths and vendors present at the fair, offering mental health resources, housing assistance, financial wellness resources, free haircuts and fluoride treatment for kids. A limited number of free food boxes will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. The Idaho Immunization Coalition will also be offering individuals a gift card for each eligible vaccine received, while supplies last.

In addition to providing free health services, the event will include entertainment such as a bounce house, cultural performances by local dance groups, STEM activities and face painting.

Heather Gagliano, the operation and education director for the coalition, said the health fair is a great way to support Idahoans.

“We are always striving to make this a fun afternoon that is filled with activities for everyone, as well as make this a one-stop shop that helps families get some of their routine health needs met,” Gagliano said in a press release.
