Election 2024: Early voting begins in Ada, Bonneville, Kootenai and other Idaho counties
Early voting in the 2024 general election started Tuesday in Ada County and at least nine other Idaho counties.
Early voting is be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at all six Ada County early voting locations. Same-day voter registration is also available at all early voting locations, the Ada County Clerk’s Office said in a press release issued Thursday.
Early voting locations in Ada County include:
- Ada County Elections Office, 400 N. Benjamin Lane
- Meridian City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Ave.
- Boise City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Blvd.
- Eagle Public Library, 100 N. Stierman Way
- Kuna City Hall, 751 W. Fourth St.
- Library! At Bown Crossing, 2153 E. Riverwalk Drive
Early voting also started Tuesday in Adams, Bingham, Blaine, Bonneville, Gem, Idaho, Kootenai, Minidoka and Twin Falls counties, according to the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office’s voteidaho.gov website.
Early voting begins in Canyon, Madison, Fremont and Elmore counties on Oct. 21. For anyone who doesn’t vote early or by absentee ballot, polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time across Idaho on Election Day, Nov. 5, for in-person voting. Same-day voter registration is available on Election Day and during early voting.
The deadline for registered voters to request an absentee ballot at www.voteidaho.gov is Oct. 25.
The deadline to register to vote online before Election Day was Oct. 11.
