Over 1,000 job postings in Boise are open, with employers looking to fill positions in various fields, according to a press release from the Idaho Department of Labor. 

“The three roles with the most job postings in June were registered nurses, retail salespersons and software developers,” said Jan Roeser, labor economist, in the release.

The Idaho Department of Labor is hosting a multi-employer job fair from 1-4 p.m. July 24 at the Hewlett Packard Campus at 11311 W. Chinden Blvd. inside the Les Bois conference room to address this demand. 

Participating employers include Idaho Power, Boise State University, Fred Meyer, Idaho Youth Ranch, Amazon, Bogus Basin, Idaho Division of Human Resources, Ada County Highway District and more. 

Other available positions range from general equipment operators, warehouse associates, pipe welders, snowmaking supervisors, research data analysts and senior buyers.
